Vicente,

Google doesn't need to. AFAIK, Google hasn't patented any of GFS. Others are free to use its architecture to create something usable by business, which GFS, today, isn't.

Hello Google fanboys!

When will Google release this code for others to use?

.......

Still waiting?

Until then, I wish people would shut up about it. It's like listening to the guy in the next cubicle talk about how COOL the IPhone will be. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Can you please evaluate and write more about GmailFS, a filesystem that make use of Gmail as a virtual hard disk drive?

A comprehensive detailed description of the Google's computational platform can be found on my blogs.

Thank you.
