I’ve had an Ultra for four months. And in general I really like it for the size of the display and the extended battery life.
My main outdoor activity is hiking on trails that I know well, so I haven’t used many of the adventure-oriented features. I’ll try some of them while in Europe next month.
The biggest problem I’ve had with the Ultra: its thickness. It has a tendency to snag on coats and jackets. And it can be difficult to make a quick progress check when wearing long sleeved shirt.
I hope the next edition of the Ultra is thinner. Other than that, it’s a winner.
